Summertime is passing

The summer is slowly passing and awaiting the arrival of our departure to China on August 16th seems like it will take forever. I've have time to fix up the house and then get it all messy and cluttered yet again . I went to Chinatown last weekend and bought Livi a golden piggy bank (she was born in 2007, the Year of the Golden Pig.) I also went to see "One Man Lord of the Rings" play at Wooly Mammoth, and last night went to see "The Music Man" (Howard County Summer Theatre group.) It looks like I'll be able to go to at least one session of the upcoming Legg Mason Tennis Tournament in DC, and Mary and I are still pondering whether to go to Pennsic for a weekend (although it is so close to China departure that I might have to regretfully decline, not sure yet...)
